Thor: Ragnarok Trailer - James Gunn Calls It Marvel's Best Yet
Get ready for the hype train...
Given James Gunn's infamous openness during his Q&A sessions on social media, it's inevitable that fans will leap on every opportunity to hear more about his work on Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 and also the broader universe of the MCU. It barely even matters that the image of all of the directors being best friends and sharing slurpees over superhero banter is clearly not a reality.
The director has taken to Twitter this weekend for another round of questions, confirming that he's seen the Thor: Ragnarok trailer and that we should all be very, very excited about it. Because it's pretty special.
Asked about the forthcoming teaser, he didn't mince his words...
He also reacted to one fan attempting to say that a comment he made about having full creative control (and the studio leaving him be) was a low-key criticism of DC in blunt fashion...
It's frustrating how this conversation has to happen every time there's a Marvel or DC release of any sort: look at the Justice League trailer and it's all Marvel comments (or people commenting on Marvel comments), it's getting tiresome.
At least Gunn isn't afraid to put it straight...
