Top 6 Fast And Furious Villains

3. Arturo Braga - Fast & Furious

Braga John Ortiz played the role of Campos, well Campos is what we were thought to believe for the majority of the film until it was revealed that he was playing the role of Arturo Braga all along, it did come as a surprise to many fans including myself.Set five years after The Fast and the Furious we see Dom and his new crew which consists of Tego, Omar and Han as they are hijacking fuel tankers in the Dominican Republic, several weeks later it is revealed that Letty has been murdered and the adventure begins to bring down the drug dealer known as Arturo Braga. Braga hosts a street race with the winner having the honour of becoming his final driver which traffics heroin between the Mexican and United States border, after Dom wins Brian uses his power as an F.B.I. agent to arrest another driver and ends up taking the final spot to drive for Braga. We are led to believe that Campos is working for Braga, and whatever he orders is an order from the man above him and nobody else gets a say, not even Campos. After the drivers manage to elude the police and avoid being killed, Dom and Brian manage to steal $60million worth of heroin and hide it in a police compound. Campos brings in a decoy that plays Braga but then flees to Mexico after he reveals he is the real Braga. To me this did come as a surprise as I didn€™t think Campos was fooling everyone as Braga, but I think that is what makes him the third best villain from the entire franchise. He manages to fool everybody and he isn€™t the biggest in size and not intimidating; but he does have the brains and he uses them to full effect. He doesn€™t have as much power as Reyes who has the police in Rio, but Braga manages to surround himself with enough men to make himself feel untouchable; and that is what we believe even when he is revealed as nobody can really do anything about Braga up until the conclusion of the film. He is similar to Johnny Tran as Braga knows his fair share about cars and can actually drive a fast car, something we have not seen with Carter Verone and Hernan Reyes but as a whole; the fact that he used his brain better than the previous three is the biggest reason as to why Ortiz did a great job of portraying Braga, I doubt anybody else could have been as convincing as Ortiz and for me he remains the third best villain from the franchise.
