TRAILER: THE BANK JOB

Jason Statham's next movie THE BANK JOB promises to reveal secrets never before told about the legendary 'Baker Street heist of 1971' where robbers stole over 3 million pounds worth of cash and jewellery in the biggest bank robbery in England's history. The robbers were caught... but weren't so easily arrested when police found them in possession of comprising 'sex scandal' photo's of Princess Margaret. A gagging order prevented all details about the case from being told for 3 decades. What happened to these men? Were they arrested? What happened to the money and how did the Royal family respond?

I won't give the game away like some plot descriptions of the tale, instead I present to you the movie's trailer...

Perfect material for Jason Statham but what might surprise you is the guy behind the camera. It's veteran Aussie director Roger Donaldson whose last movie THE WORLD'S FASTEST INDIAN gathered great acclaim and was easily the most beautiful and accomplished film of his career, with a very taut agenda and story.

For THE BANK JOB, he's come to England... and shot a much more broader film with a far more comedic... almost Guy Ritchie feel to what is a massive historical news event in the nation's history.

The movie is out in February and is getting little buzz at the moment. I think it looks pretty neat, and I must say that Saffron Burrows is one hot chick. Hope it fulfills it's promise to stick to the truth.
