Tulia scrapped because Halle Berry got knocked up

John Singleton's movie about the real life tale of an attorney for the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, who intervened to free wrongly convicted citizens based on cop's false testimony's is scrapped.

John Singleton really isn't getting much luck lately is he? First he's involved in an automobile accident after a women decided to commit suicide by jumping in front of his car in L.A. I mean that type of thing is enough to scar a person for life and now comes word that his next movie Tulia, starring Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton has been scrapped. The reason being Berry's recently announced pregnancy reports TMZ through Film Ick. It's been reported that after she's had her child the movie might be picked up again and put into development once again but at this point Tulia won't be made. The movie was based on a non-fiction book where Berry would portray the lead attorney for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, which intervened to free the citizens wrongly convicted based on one crooked cop€™s testimony. So Singleton is now out of work for no fault of his own. Could he once again attempt to bring the superhero Luke Cage to the big screen?
