9. The Terminator (1984)

Arnold Schwarzenegger's iconic depiction of a cyborg sent back in time to prevent the birth of the leader of the human resistance contains a heart-removal scene that some people may not know about.

This scene was removed from most versions of the film (leaving viewers with the far less dramatic image of the victim simply falling to the floor covered in blood) and occurs when a band of punks start some trouble with Arnie's Terminator after he requests their clothes (as he tends to do). The group, who include Bill Paxton and the Buffyverse's very own Brian Thompson, then brandish knives and attempt to attack the cyborg, who proceeds to easily fend off the assault of the first two punks, then tears the heart out of Brian Thompson's character's chest.
