Walk Hard trailer works... just... I think... or does it?

Judd Apatow produced and co-written Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story twice now and I've come to the conclusion that it works. Mostly. Or maybe it doesn't work because it took me two goes to get into it? I dunno. Some of it is really funny then some of it just falls flat on it's face. I would probably rather the film wasn't a full on parody of Walk the Line and instead was more of a parody of biopics in general and I hate to say it because I like the guy but I'm not sure if John C. Reilly is the right man to front line such a comedy. And Paul Rudd doing John Lennon and Jack White from The White Stripes as Elvis? From this short clip it doesn't look like those cameo's work at all. I think it's safe to say I'm a little mixed on this trailer then but the funny bits are funny enough to get me into the the theatre.
