2. Sleeping Beauty The very definition of a sleeper hit Sleeping Beauty has amassed over $36 million dollars for Disney, but back in 1959 the film simply bored its audiences into a comatose state. Or so it seemed. Taking four years to make and costing over $6 million dollars it was Walt's most ambitious project yet and yet he was too busy working on some crazy idea for a theme park to oversee the spiralling costs and uninspiring story.
