Warner Confirms Man Of Steel Will Be 3D

In a statement to the press the film's director Zack Snyder had the following to say: "The film is going to be a visually exciting experience in all formats: 2D, 3D and IMAX. Anticipating how audiences today embrace 3D, we designed and photographed the movie in a way that would allow Man of Steel to captivate those movie goers, while respecting fans who prefer a more traditional cinematic experience. We've taken great measures to ensure the film and the story come first, and 3D is meant as an enhancement." This decision, which has been confirmed by Warner, follows on from the story that Christopher Nolan said no one he knows likes the 3D experience and therefore no film he ever makes will appear in anything other than 2D or IMAX. According to Nolan, 3D is simply a way of making extra money from the fans. Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, with Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Russell Crowe as Jor-El. It hits cinema's June 14, 2013. With 7 months left before a release heres hoping they get this right! Will you be paying the extra cash to see it in 3D?
