Watch: American Hustle Deleted Scene

David O.Russell's captivating and masterful American Hustle criminally didn't take home a single Oscar last weekend, further proving the old adage that the Academy are completely out of touch with modern cinema. The perfectly paced, immensely acted (seriously... all four leading actors nominated and all overlooked!) and wickedly amusing tale of con-men, love and American politics was universally loved by critics and audiences, carrying an impressive 93% Rotten Tomatoes rating to its name and earning $250 million at the box office. Christian Bale gives one of his finest performance as Irving Rosenfeld, a cunning and charming con-artist who teams with the sultry Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams) and determined FBI agent Richie DiMaso in the 70s world of corruption and seduction. Jeremy Renner also excels as New Jersey political operator Carmine Polito who gets himself caught between the con-men and the feds. Simply put, it's awesome. If you haven't seen the movie yet (and we already know you are buying it if you did) then American Hustle will hit Blu-ray and DVD on March 18th. To celebrate the release, we've got an early look at a deleted scene from the film that you owe yourself to watch below... David O. Russell's American Hustle comes to Blu-ray and DVD on March 18th.
