With the exception of the first sequel, Leslie Easterbrook appeared in all the Police Academy films as blonde bombshell Debbie Callahan. Despite Callahan€™s take-no-prisoners attitude she was undoubtedly responsible for giving Police Academy a dose sex appeal. Before her first appearance as Callahan in Police Academy, Easterbrook was best known for her recurring role in sitcom Laverne and Shirley as the titular duo€™s foxy neighbour Rhonda Lee.

Following Police Academy, Easterbrook continued to make TV guest appearances into the nineties, recently her work has been more limited to film, with a string of TV movies under her belt. She has recently struck up a working relationship with rocker turned director Rob Zombie, appearing in The Devil's Rejects and Zombie€™s recent Halloween remake.

Her most notable recent screen appearance was in the Farrelly Brothers' latest The Heartbreak Kid alongside Ben Stiller. Easterbrook continues to make movies with several currently in post-production, but chances are she€™ll never emulate the success of the iconic role for which she is most fondly remembered.
