Behind Steve Guttenberg, Michael Winslow is probably the person you would most associate with the Police Academy films, but I bet no one could tell you his name. €œThe one who does the noises€ is one of only three actors to have appeared in every Police Academy films to date, he also had a recurring role in the short-lived Police Academy TV series. Winslow€™s career began in stand up comedy, showcasing his stunning vocal talents; it was here that he was spotted by director Hugh Wilson and producer Paul Manslanski who immediately offered him the role of Jones, giving him his big break. In addition to Police Academy, Winslow has also starred in Mel Brooks€™Spaceballs and provided voice work on Gremlins. He even sang on the theme song for Police Academy 4 Winslow has been referenced in both Family Guy and The Simpsons and is still an easily recognisable 80€™s icon, he still performs stand up and draws large crowds eager to hear his trademark sound effects live, he is even available for corporate bookings should your event require him.
