William Sadler's Grim Reaper To Return in Bill & Ted 3?

"I'm not sure if it's a done deal yet. I know they're trying to write The Grim Reaper in."

Over a decade has passed since he last graced our screens in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, but it looks like Death will be returning to be "Melvined" yet again if William Sadler's latest comments to MovieWeb are to be believed. According to Sadler, Winter approached him about appearing in the developing Bill & Ted threequel earlier this year stating there couldn't be a movie without an appearance from the pasty faced Reaper of souls:
"I'm not sure if it's a done deal yet. I know they're trying to write The Grim Reaper in. (Writer-star) Alex (Winter) said, 'How could we do this without the Reaper?' I'm hopeful. I'd love to go back and play with those guys again. That was one of the most fun roles I've done. I'll be there in a heartbeat, if they want to do it."
Bill & Ted 3 will follow the titular characters as they try to compose the most awesome piece of music of all time, a radical tune that will make people "be excellent to each other" and save humanity from certain doom. Writer's are still hard at it coming up with something that will live up to the previous two movies cult status, though the films stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are both said to be very pleased with what they've seen so far. Exactly how Death would fit into the new Bill and Ted remains to be seen, but fans are already hitting the message boards to show their support.
