Warner Bros,

Ahead of the escalation of the Wonder Woman marketing campaign into its final month, Warner Bros have released two brand new TV spots featuring lots of new footage.

The most interesting elements both centre around the mysterious villain Ares - set to be played by David Thewliss in a role twinned with his "human" disguise Sir Patrick. It's only a very brief shot of the villainous God, but he looks pretty special even from that, and it's a nice little tease after all the speculation.

As if to suggest that he's possibly more than he appears to be, the second TV spot also seems to feature Danny Huston's General Erich Ludendorff growling in what sounds like a digitally enhanced voice. But you should still fully expect it to be Thewliss who reveals that he is Ares.
