Disney's Wreck-It Ralph sequel has now got a new name: the upcoming release will officially be called Ralph Breaks the Internet, channelling the spirit of Kim Kardashian's naked rear end, apparently.

Disney revealed the name change at CinemaCon, confirming also that both Jane Lynch (Sergeant Calhoun) and Jack McBrayer (Fix-it Felix) would be coming back along with John C.Reilly as Ralph and Sarah Silverman as the incredibly annoying Vanellope von Schweetz. The directors are also back - Rich Moore and Phil Johnston - which is good news, given how well the original did. They're promising new characters too.

So will this be dedicated to online gaming? To gamer cultures online? To the Internet at large? And if it's the latter, are they going to be dealing with the insistent elephant in the room that is the reams and reams of porn? That would be quite the approach for a kids movie.

The original Wreck-It-Ralph almost broke records for Disney back in 2012, opening with the second highest ever Disney opening weekend. Presumably, the sequel would be on course for a similarly spectacular opening, though it's been moved out of the end of year slot and into March 2018.
