Writer found for BBC adaptation SECOND SIGHT

we last heard anything on Second Sight, Universal Pictures' adaptation of the 1999 BBC t.v. thriller which starred Clive Owen as a detective struggling to solve a murder before he went blind from a rare degenerative eye disease. But today we bring news of the man chosen to adapt the project, his name - Craig Rosenberg. He previously adapted a remake of A Tale of Two Sisters titled The Uninvited (which stars Elizabeth Banks & due out early 2009) and the Brett Ratner thriller After the Sunset. He also wrote and directed Half Light, a little seen STV 2006 Demi Moore horror. No actor is currently attached and it's unlikely that Clive Owen would be interested in reprising his role from the series now that he is a Hollywood star. source - variety
