So far, it's been difficult to know what to make of X-Men: Apocalypse; the footage movie-goers have been permitted to see has provoked something of a mixed reaction. There have been concerns over casting (Sophie Turner as Jean Grey?), the villain (is Apocalypse a disaster waiting to happen?), and director Bryan Singer's general approach to the X-Men timeline - not to mention the fact that Wolverine is entirely absent, which is just sad news, isn't it?
