X-Men: Days Of Future Past - 6 Additional Scenes That Should Be Filmed

6. Internment Camps

Dofp Internment Camp In the X-Men: Days of Future Past comic books, all mutants are captured, given neck braces which inhibit their powers and placed in internment camps - run down areas of once flourishing cities in which they must remain, unless they are out running errands for their Sentinel captors (which they must do in a specific amount of time, or be subject to questioning with lie-detector equipment and potentially killed if they are found to be untruthful about where they've been). Countless mutants are held in these places (which are somewhat reminiscent of concentration camps in Nazi Germany), but only four that were ever X-Men remain alive - Storm, Colossus, Kitty Pryde and Wolverine - and they refer to these places as their "home" (see above). Having these horrible locations on screen would convey the desperate situation in which mutantkind finds itself and could serve as the place where the plans to rise up against the Sentinel regime are put together. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be any sign of them in the trailer - and discussions that seem to mirror the ones in the comic books have taken place in the trailer - but surely they must be included to show the dire state in which mutants find themselves. The movie needs them.
