Star Wars is a franchise that has strong appeal to every generation. Whether it be the people who remember seeing A New Hope in 1977, when nobody knew what to expect, or the younger generation just discovering that galaxy far far away, it is a story that will be retold and live on for decades to come.
A lot has changed since the release of A New Hope. There has been so much expansion into the lore of the Star Wars universe that we are able to know everything there is to know about almost all the characters, even the ones that appear insignificant. The amount of individual movies that could be made would be enough to allow Disney to produce Star Wars movies forever!
