Floyd Mayweather Jr is not nicknamed "The Money" for nothing - he is believed to be worth more than £230million ($350million), and that value is expected to soar in the coming months. The first athlete aside from golfer Tiger Woods to earn more than $100million (£67.7million) in a single calendar year, Mayweather doesn't fight for cheap - and why should he when he has won every single one of his 47 fights to date? Yet Filipino fighter Manny Pacquiao is hoping to change all that and become the undisputed best pound-for-pound boxer in the world when he meets Mayweather at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2. This fight - which is more than five years in the making - is going to cost British viewers £24.95 ($37.20) to watch it on Sky Sports Box Office, while US boxing fans will be forced to part with $100 (£67) to get the bout on their screens. In all, this mega-fight could generate $400million - including more than £170million ($250million) in pay-per-view receipts - making it the highest-grossing bout in history. But what 10 previous matches have drawn the most revenue from pay-per-view audiences? Here are the 10 highest-grossing pay-per-views boxing bouts of all time - and they have pulled in a combined £660.7million ($985.1million)...

Rating: £100.6million ($150million)

Unsurprisingly "The Money" is also at the very top of this list, with his majority-decision victory over Alvarez in September 2013 being the highest-grossing pay-per-view match in history. Viewers paid a cumulative £100.6million ($150million) to witness this bout - and they will likely part with even more to see Mayweather-Pacquiao too!
