9. John Goodman As The King - Pyst

The Myst series certainly has its merits, but there was always something missing. With Pyst, the parody game of Myst, it's easy to see what exactly Myst needed: John Goodman. Pyst not only has a voice-over provided by Goodman, but has LIVE-ACTION John Goodman in an extremely low-budget setting.

Pyst has John Goodman as the King of the island, and he yells at you quite boisterously about how much he loves the island of Pyst. The best part about it, and this goes for another live-action performance later in this list, is the unashamedly joyous and over-the-top approach to line delivery. If Goodman just 'did this for a paycheck', it's hard to tell when he seems to be having such a blast.

To add a cherry on top, Goodman even SINGS the main theme for the game. Regardless of Pyst's actual quality, it's worth your time just to go on YouTube and watch clips of Goodman belting his lungs out. So odd, yet so charming in all the right ways.
