8. Oblivion

Oblivion appears in many of the Kingdom Hearts games, but has most prominently appeared in the original and its follow up. It can be unlocked by simply playing through the story, although it always appears towards the end of the adventure.

This Keyblade has one of the most interesting designs in the series, almost appearing as a dark version of Sora's own, complete with its own black crown necklace.

Oblivion is also always tied to Riku in some regard, appearing before you fight him in the first game and after you reunite with him in the second.

Another power-based Keyblade, you'll get Oblivion towards the end of each game, and it is often unrivalled in raw power, being one of the strongest Keyblades in the first game. Its magic power isn't fantastic, but the ability attached to it in Kingdom Hearts II is.

Drive Boost allows for Drive to recover quicker during MP charge, which makes accessing some of the most powerful forms in the game much quicker. This - combined with Oblivion's strength - makes it highly damaging in certain situation.

Jumping through portals, swinging through cities, destroying beings made of darkness and occasionally shooting a gun or two. I also write about games.
