10 Best Selling Video Games Of 2015 - Ranked

6. Call Of Duty: Black Ops III (21.7 million)

Just when it seemed like the Call of Duty bandwagon might have started losing its momentum with the slower sales of Advanced Warfare and Ghosts, Black Ops 3 brings the series back with a vengeance - sales-wise, anyway. That's not to say that BlOps 3 isn't an awesomely complete first-person shooter package. Its single-player campaign is the Hollywood-level, heavily-scripted madness you'd expect, but with ultra-violent robots instead of generic Russians, Middle-easterners or faceless corporations. Also, at a time when publishers are neglecting split-screen gaming, BlOps bucks the trend by offering one of the best offline multiplayer experiences around - which includes split-screen online, four-player split-screen with bots, co-op campaign and the brilliant new Zombies mode. Sure, BO3 isn't really close to Game of the Year overall, but it's right up there when it comes to offering value for money. With that said, it's unlikely that the CoD zealots have that on their minds when obediently pre-ordering it by the millions before even knowing what to actually expect from the game...
