10 Best Set Pieces In Uncharted History

Nobody does action spectacle like Naughty Dog.

Naughty Dog's Uncharted series is known for many different things: action, fantastic writing, loveable characters and, most of all, incredible set pieces.

Although the first entry back in 2007 didn’t feature any of these more scripted sequences, Uncharted 2 refined and focused on them far more, opening with one of the most iconic cliff-dangling intros we'd ever seen. This focus was carried over into the rest of the games in a big way, almost becoming one of the franchise's biggest selling points.

Though, what makes a great Uncharted set piece?

One of the biggest deciders is the level of interaction given to the player. Whilst many moments in the series focus on purely epic-looking firefights, the best of the best give you a great deal of control within a series of specific action 'triggers', all whilst making the situation feel bombastic and cinematic.

Because some of the set pieces in Uncharted happen at key points during the story, consider this your spoiler warning.

May fortune favor the bold…
