Alright, so Disc Jam may not have been one of the year's big critical darlings to date, but as far as ludicrously addictive online multiplayer mayhem goes? Nothing else has been able to match it so far.

A spiritual successor to the legendary Windjammers, this deceptively simple disc-throwing sports title is easy to pick up but controller-throwingly difficult to master. A month after release, some of the insane techniques players have discovered are nothing short of mind-boggling.

Though it being hyped as "the next Rocket League" probably does it no favours in the long run, the appealing art-style, snappy gameplay and immense competitive aspect make Disc Jam the multiplayer game you should be playing right now.

Plus, with High Horse vowing to keep updating the game in the coming months, it's only going to get better.
