10 Bizarre Video Game Spin-Offs You Had No Idea Existed

9. Death By Degrees (2005) (PS2)

url-4 If you've ever played a game in the Tekken series, you're probably familiar with Nina Williams, the blonde assassin with ultra-cool fightin' moves and an attitude to boot. More importantly, though, she's hot. And that was presumably the reason Namco thought it would be a good idea to give Nina here own video game spin-off: to attract fans who were already hooked on her unrelenting sex appeal. The game - whose title sounds like a Japanese person's idea of a "cool Hollywood movie" - had players controlling Nina with the analog sticks, running around and breaking the bones of her enemies. And the bone-breaking feature was kind of neat, because you could actually see the damage you were inflicting on your enemies. Still, it didn't have any effect on their ability to attack you, so what was the point? The experience was also soured by a horrible camera system and some tricky controls, two features you definitely want to get right 'less you want your game buried soon after its release date. Still, there was joy to be had, given that you could unlock new costumes for Nina along the way, including a bikini and cocktail dress. So I've heard.
