10 Cancelled Video Games That Would Have Been Awesome

9. Dirty Harry (Xbox, PS2)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtAvsrA0Tvk Little is known about the only game to ever feature Clint Eastwood. You'd think with his new found powers of being able to converse with invisible presidents would make good ol' Clint the perfect video game character. Unfortunately no development studio has made good on such an idea. From what little we know; the game was intended to be a free roaming action adventure in the style of GTA. Set entirely within the city of San Francisco. Players could choose between both Good Cop/Bad Cop styles when dealing with criminals. The only known footage of the game is an animated trailer featuring the likeness of Clint Eastwood. Really, this one could have gone either way. Movie tie-ins don't often make the best quality games. Seeing how the character of Harry Callahan is sacred to many a movie goer, perhaps it's best that this one ended up in the videogame graveyard. On the other hand, this game could have potentially kicked more ass than any of the characters portrayed by Clint Eastwood.
