10. Albatoss
Let's be honest, Albatoss is a flying-type just waiting to happen, from its pun-driven name right down to the to the way it's presented, which is as close as you're going to get to a Bird Pokemon without encountering some sort of hazy, copyright-bending grey zone. First encountered in Super Mario Bros. 2, you could jump on these guys for some extra elevation but get caught under 'em and your only concern was dodging the terrified-looking Bob-ombs that they so charmingly dropped from their talons.

The Similarities
I draw your attention to the plumage around Fearow's head and eyes, as well as the angry, sardonic demeanor that seems to be a defining characteristic in both fictional birds. With a few minor adjustments - the shortening of the neck, the placement of the talon-bound Bob-omb and a slight shift in colour from brown to red, we're basically looking at the same creature.
