Batman's utility belt never ceases to amaze.

Bruce Wayne's near-infinite supply of money may not seem like it could stack up against the amazing superpowers of The Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman, and many of his other teammates in the Justice League. But with unlimited access to high-tech gadgetry comes practically unlimited resourcefulness, and you can bet that the Dark Knight will always have the right tool for the job.

Maybe he ought to move away from all the detective stuff and start calling himself the World's Greatest Handyman.

Every incarnation of Batman seems to equip him with an all-new arsenal of Waynetech toys to fling around Gotham. You all know about the Batmobile, the Batwing, and his trademark batarangs, but his penchant for technology does not stop there.

Since the 1980s, there have been dozens of video game adaptations of Batman's adventures, most of which make good use of the Caped Crusader's seemingly limitless utility belt. Whether a substantial game-changer or just damn fun to play around with, here are 10 of the coolest gadgets Bruce has ever taken with him on his virtual escapades.

10. Batdisks - Batman: The Video Game (1989)

There are definitely more than a few Batman games out there based on the 1989 Tim Burton movie. Batman: The Video Game stands as one of the better ones, offering a fast-paced side-scrolling action style of play reminiscent of games like Contra and Castlevania.

This game gives you quite a lot of diverse gizmos to play around with, including the classic batarangs, a speargun, and, most intriguingly, the devastating Batdisks, which can make mincemeat of anything standing in your way.

Not literally, as fortune would have it, as almost everything Batman fights in this game is entirely robotic. At the same time, the fact that there's no risk of breaking his one rule here means he can afford to pull out the big guns.

Or blades, rather. The attack consists of three shuriken-like projectiles being shot straight ahead of Batman, widening as they go and allowing for quite a generous area of damage. It sure does make short work of the machines in your path, so perhaps it's just as well that Bruce never tries them out on any people.
