10 Despicable Gaming Moments That Show The Censors Might Have A Point

8. Mad World (2009)

Mad World - released in 2009 for the Wii of all things - was Nintendo's desperate attempt to break into the 'adult' market with a title that seemed so childish it's ironically fit for the Wii. The premise for Mad World is to kill your fellow human being in the most unbelievably bloodthirsty artsy way possible, as commentators scream for more blood. Maybe because of the comic book art style, people don't make this connection, but I find it strange that the general public loathe Manhunt because of its sinister content, which comprises of killing people in nightmarish ways in front of an audience. While, Mad World - besides being a pretty damn boring title - has pretty much the exact same idea. Adding to that, because it's on the Wii, I think people don't really look into how dark the Mad World actually is.
