10 Fearsome Video Game Women You Should Never Mess With

8. Borderlands - Lilith

The so-attractive-it's-kinda-creepy redhead in the photo above is Lilith, one of a team of four Vault-Hunters who scour the hostile planet of Pandora in search of a legendary treasure, hidden within the aforementioned Vault. Although (unfortunately), they don't quite find what they expect, she, along with her comrades Mordecai, Brick, and Roland (with whom she has a relationship - hell yeah interracial love!), wreak absolute havoc on the waves of bandits, Atlas troopers, and scores of belligerent wildlife on Pandora's harsh wasteland.

In their four-part crew of dangerous misfits, Roland is the Soldier (flexible in combat, favors automated turrets and Assault Rifles), Brick is the Berserker (close range tank, favors shotguns and... his fists), Mordecai is the Hunter (long range, precise combat, favors revolvers and sniper rifles), and Lilith is the Siren - although in her case, it is implied she favors SMGs and pistols, although she can wield any weapon with an elemental (Incendiary, Corrosive , Electric, or Explosive) nature, to potent effect. In addition, she functions as the stealthy, hit-and-run part of the team. Her innate ability allows her to both become invisible, and cover a large amount of ground quickly, meaning she can both advance and retreat quickly as a situation needs. Thus, she's fairly flexible in combat, if not suffering from under-durability.

Article II

"Chillin'... killin'."

Her mage-like abilities aside, her status as a Siren makes her one of a group of six women with mystical, superhuman abilities and powers in the story of Borderlands. As such, she's just as capable of handling the seemingly endless waves of hostiles who call Pandora home. And although Borderlands is obviously geared toward multiplayer co-op, each character is more than able to play the game alone - and Lilith is no slouch in the offense department, her proficiency with elemental weapons and the destructive ability of her Phasewalk easily able to deal with nearly anything Pandora can throw at her.

Or, you can be an opportunist and just sprint through the game. But hey, to each their own.
