10 Final Fantasy VII Moments We Can't Wait To See In The Remake

9. The Gold Saucer

Final Fantasy VII Mototbike Chase
Square Enix/ Sony

One of my favourite parts of Final Fantasy VII were the various mini-games it had at The Gold Saucer. From replaying the snowboard mission to the ultra fun G-Bike racing, the game did a pretty good job of taking players away from the constant grind of levelling up characters.

While it would be incredibly enjoyable, yet painstakingly long to recreate, it would be great if Square updated the original mini-games and also added some more to the area. The Gold Saucer is the perfect place for side missions that will eventually help you in the main game later on.

Imagine if Square added extra items to the Battle Arena that made you want to spend more time in there or if they incorporated an online multi-player mode for the chocobo racing so fans could find who the best breeder and rider in the world was? The options for the Gold Saucer are endless and give the creators so many different opportunities to engage gamers and keep them coming back for more even when the game is done.
