Don’t you wish that some games would just switch formats? Or maybe you’d like to see a combination of some games, or a different play style? For me, there are a good number of games that I believe would do better as MMO’s rather than their formats now. However, I have narrowed the list down so folks won’t get overwhelmed.
What about this game? What about that game? Check it out and leaves some comments if you agree or disagree!

10. X-Men Legends/Marvel Ultimate Alliance/X-Men Destiny
This one is a three-way tie between a few games that I think can be trimmed down to one. I see Ultimate Alliance as a copy of X-Men Legends because the latter did it right. It was centered on the X-Men and players could have four playable characters in their squad at a time. They battled the likes of Magneto and his brotherhood, and even tackled Apocalypse in the sequel. It was a lot of fun, even if the customization was crap.
The reason these two games are tied is because Ultimate Alliance did a similar thing. Even though they threw in a better system for combining powers, it continuously reminded me of my favorite game. However, X-Men Destiny had the right idea in that it allows players to choose from three preset characters and a handful of preset powers.
I can’t help but see a combination of these games into an MMO. Perhaps the entire Marvel Universe would work better in such a game format since you’d be able to make your own character and work alongside your favorites. You could explore other realms and worlds (Asgard), and redistribute your experience points as appropriate to the gameplay. Either way, an MMO set in the Marvel Universe, based on those concepts would be fantastic.

i would have thought Fallout would be ideal for this type of thing. not that i have ever played an MMO though.
Actually, Fallout was on the list on one point, but I figured it would be too obvious. lol I played Warcraft for a month in college, but I realized I didn’t have patience for an MMO.
Actually there is a Transformers MMO currently in development. It should be out by the end of the year. It’s called Transformers Universe.
Actually, I heard about that last year, but I thought it got canned. Still, good catch!
#4…. What are you talking about? Final Fantasy 11 was an MMORPG…. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_11
I guess I meant to say that Final Fantasy should only be a MMO!
ah ok, wel in that case I’d agree. If they stopped making a new FFXV and FFXVI and etc. and made an MMO simply Named Final Fantasy (or Final Fantasy Online or w/e) and just fcused on keeping that running and updated with content and include characters and worlds from each of the previous Final Fantasy titles, it’d be pretty cool.
