If you've never played the Yakuza series, you owe it to yourself as a gamer to try it out. It's evocative of the PS2 era, and Kiwami is a great way to get a huge game for cheap.
The Yakuza series focuses on Kazuma Kiryu, a member of the infamous Japanese gang. To date there have been six games in the main series, going all the way back to the 2005 original title on the PS2. The first two games were popular but the series really found its success and popularity on the PlayStation 3. As such, many gamers never got a chance to play those seminal original games.
The fine folks over at Sega want to make sure everyone can get in on Yakuza from the very beginning, so the first two titles were re-made from the ground-up. Now you can play the very first Yakuza game (Yakuza: Kiwami) on the PS4 for £15.99! And these games are huge; you could devote over 60 hours to running through the streets of Japan, fighting, singing karaoke, gambling, playing darts, or bowling. Talk about a bargain.
'Ello 'ello, this ere's me profile and I don't know why I'm talking like this because I ain't even English. Anyhoo, I'm actually a bloke from Ireland who now lives in Canada but still spends his days playing video games, watching wrasslin', listening to podcasts, and binge-watching Netflix, and generally avoiding the outdoors at all costs. Y'see, Canada is a cesspool of crazy people and ungodly weather - not just the sixth month long winters, it's currently 40 degrees and I'm wearing SPF 50 to save my pale emerald isle skin tones. Well, it seems I got a little lost. I'll just show myself out.
