As gamers, we generally tend to think games are pretty much awesome. Sure, they're filled with great stuff to do, loads of flashes and bangs and lots of excitement, but there's also some times when games turn out to be embarrassing. It may come out of the blue suddenly with no warning of be blatantly obvious all the way through, but these are certainly moment that you couldn't show to a non-gamer and expect them not to ridicule you. So get ready to cringe as I dreg up some of the memories you've locked away right at the back of your mind and hoped you'd never see again. I apologise in advance if it makes you sob uncontrollably.
10. Waggle That Wii
They're ready. Are you? Waggle time! Although I'll probably be the first person to fight in the Wii's corner and say it was a great console that had some genuinely brilliant games, the act of actually using the controller is one that'll always be cringe-worthy. Motion is a funny thing really, and when playing a game, it's somewhat limited by the programming. In the case of the Wii, it's unfortunate that many of the actions required by games often required a lot of excessive shaking of a Wii Remote upwards and downwards repeatedly. If you've ever played with the family, there's little more scary than seeing your siblings, parents, grandparents or other extended family members all waggling their remotes in unison. My eyes.
