10 More Video Games That Let You Hilariously Troll Other Players

10. Grand Theft Auto Online's Public Lobbies

Almost six years after it launched, Grand Theft Auto Online continues to be one of the most popular multiplayer games worldwide, despite the fact that it's also an intensely permissive sandbox for trolls and griefers.

In fact, as GTA Online has grown and become more impressively complex, the trolling opportunities have only grown riper, with public lobbies presenting the biggest rewards for players but also the greatest risk of being killed totally outta nowhere.

Gunrunning is just one of the numerous activities that can keep players well-minted, but doing so requires entry into a public lobby, with many missions flagging you on the map to other players.

For trolls, the pickings are incredibly easy, especially with last summer's After Hours update adding the over-powered Oppressor Mk. II armoured vehicle into the mix.

This makes it more convenient than ever to attack players minding their own business, interrupt their mission and blow them all to hell, wasting their time and in-game cash in the process.

The problem is pervasive enough that many have resorted to desperate tactics to enter public lobbies with as few players as possible, such as continually quitting populated servers or fiddling with their local network settings to limit incoming connections.

While most AAA multiplayer games make a concerted effort to stamp out trolls, GTA Online continues to be the certified Wild West where griefing is concerned - which is probably why it remains so damn popular.
