10 Most Ridiculous Moments In Resident Evil History

A series where punching boulders is just par for the course.

With Resident Evil 7: Biohazard switching back to true survival horror and seemingly removing the B-movie camp, transitioning into a more serious tone (despite the shirtless, potty-mouthed hillbilly sauntering around) it seemed fitting to reminisce about the ridiculous moments in the past that made us cringe, laugh, or sometimes, just plain p*ssed us off.

It's nice to see the future with RE7, but with that, now is the time to look back and say goodbye to some of the ridiculous stuff that we had to do in the franchise so far.

Because make no mistake, Capcom have crafted some pretty whacky sh*t over the years.

Yes, the whole list could be filled entirely with RE6 moments, but I feel that would be too easy, almost like picking on a child who can't count to three. It's not their fault, but in this case, it IS Resident Evil 6's fault.

Still, too easy, but expect a few. As always, if anything is missing be sure to let me know in the comments below.

10. This Is Where The Big Boys Play, Huh? - Resident Evil 6

This kind of gets a pass in a way, after all, it is just a fun little easter egg, but the sight of the super-macho muscle man, Chris Redfield and... sort of super-macho muscle... teenager... child, Piers Nivens having "fun" on a slide and rocking on those pandas.

You know, something about it is oddly creepy too. The expressionless looks combined with the ambient music - something is just eery.

Regardless, they came from a large battle so moving from that to a playground is ridiculous, believe it or not.
