Some of these are cheaper than a frappuchino.

Everybody loves a bargain. And if you don’t, first off, what’s wrong with you? And second, why? Saving money is always a treat, and cheap games are fantastic.

They’re not always the best though, with many cheaper titles turning out to be nothing more than buggy messes or asset flips (that’s not to say more expensive games can’t be, either).

It’s important to know what you’re looking for when there’s so much choice, and it can be a little daunting. There are more development studios - independent or otherwise - than ever right now, meaning even console digital storefronts are becoming just like Steam. It’s great that there’s plenty to choose from, but it makes it ever more difficult to find the sort of titles you’re looking for.

I’ve picked out ten games that you can go and buy today from the PSN Store, and have a good bit of fun with. The catch is, that every one of the games on this list is available for under £10 (some of them are slightly more expensive on the US store, but the price difference is mostly negligible).

The only tricky part, is deciding which of them you want to play first.

10. Party Hard

Pinokl Games

It’s a mass murder simulator with retro pixel graphics, which if you’re not already sold on the concept alone, just take a good look at the actual gameplay.

You’re let loose in a given environment, and told to kill everyone. How you do it is completely up to you - you can just rely on skulking around and slicing people up with your trusty knife, or you could start playing with the environment and interact-able objects.

This is where the real fun begins.

You can set traps, poison food, burn people with a bbq, run them over with a car or even impale them on the horns of a charging bull. Stealth and strategy play a major role as one wrong move and it’s game over.

If someone sees you go for the kill, or they find a body, the police will come and attempt to take you away. Think of it as Hotline Miami meets Hitman, and you're almost there.
