10 Simple Tweaks That Make Your Favourite Video Games Even Better

10. Switch The Language To Russian - Metro: Exodus

While they've always been a touch rough around the edges, the three Metro games have told pretty compelling post-apocalpytic stories, and the latest release is easily the most ambitious yet. Over tens of hours you venture on a journey into the wastes of Russia, furthering the (at times) genuinely emotional story while taking in the lore of the world and narratives of guest characters you find along the way.

This story is made all the more immersive and compelling, however, if you switch the language of the voice actors to Russian. It's not that the English dub is bad (though in the earlier titles it certainly is), it's just the script sounds way better when spoken in its native tongue. Not only does it increase immersion (as it always sounds a touch strange that these characters speak with thick accents) but it also masks some of the weaker scripting elements.

The same tweak can be used on the recently-released Sekiro, though that at least positions the native Japanese dub as the default option.
