10 Titles To Play If You Love Telltale Games

Although a turn and strategic-based RPG rather than an episodic point-and-click adventure, Banner Saga is still an experience that Telltale fans will thoroughly enjoy.

Similar to every Telltale game that exists, the Banner Saga includes a large and colourful cast who you can speak to, forge relationships with and force to die through a variety of moral dilemmas.

Playing as different people through individual chapters, you are almost always tasked with being the leader of a large party of soldiers and civillians, thus you routinely have to make difficult decisions, ones which are not as morally clear-cut as deciding if you should rip a fable’s arm off or not.

Because of how these choices impact your relationships with your followers due to affecting your food rations, your army total and security, you’ll find yourself regretting almost all your choices throughout the game’s ten-hour campaign, adding replayability that most Telltale titles don’t have.

With a better presented lore, conflicting characters and unpredictable betrayals, Banner Saga is a more befitting Game of Thrones than Telltale’s adaptation ever came close to being.
