9. Star Wars: The Old Republic
This cinematic is often thrown around as one of the best cinematic trailer out there. I am torn on that notion, and ultimately I think there are more masterful examples out there. That doesn't mean it is a pretty cool watch though. This is an example of how a big ground battle in the Star Wars Universe could indeed be compelling, which has always been a big question after the prequels. It showcases the return of the Siths in a period long before any of the Star Wars movies. In perfect baddie fashion, the Sith return in a big and overblown fashion by driving straight into the Jedi temple on Coruscant. What follows is a big foot battle between the Jedi and the Sith that has scale and is full of fun fight scenes. It is a little messy in its editing and doesn't really represent anything to do with the gameplay, so I have my reservations. However, if we take it on its own merit, there is certainly good stuff on display here.
