10 Valid Concerns About 2018's Biggest Video Games

9. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown's VR Missions

Things have been quiet with Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown for a little while now. The game is going to support PSVR, a move that could easily make or break the title.

While a brand new Ace Combat title is something for fans of the series to look forward to, the choice to make exclusive missions for VR support is a controversial one. While flying in the cockpit of a plane sounds like a match made in Heaven for VR, the topic of virtual reality more often than not introduces a bout of scepticism.

For those excited to have another big name franchise make the slow transition to VR, it could turn out to be a disaster if the missions are bad, or worse, make you very ill.

Not only that, but the game was originally set to release last year, but suffered a delay. With the lack of information so far, there's no reason to believe that won't happen again. Considering it was revealed in 2015, the game has been a slow burn for a while now. A long development cycle with very little to show for it? This one could turn out either way.
