10 Video Game Abilities That Would Kick Ass In Real Life

Some would be potentially life-saving, and others would just be a whole lot of fun.

As difficult as it might be to believe after racking up a few hundred hours on Skyrim or World of Warcraft, gaming is not, in fact, real life. It is an escape from reality that in many ways represents an idealised form of living, because video games do not (permanently) punish players for their mistakes, and in the event that you do screw up, it's easy enough to just try again, which isn't always the case with reality. Games are becoming increasingly designed with convenience and ease of use in mind, but real life doesn't have the same luxury, so the question lingers: wouldn't it be awesome to have some of these video game features and abilities in our everyday existence? Sure, most of us don't have to spend our days rescuing princesses, killing terrorists and so on, but many of the awesome abilities and power-ups in some of the very best video games would have superb real-world applications. Some would be potentially life-saving, and others would just be a whole lot of fun. As ever, please chime in with your own suggestions, and any crazy activities you might get up to with these 10 abilities!
