10 Video Games That Would Be Awesome In First Person

9. Max Payne

Remedy changed the face of gaming forever in 2001 with the release of Max Payne with the bullet time game play mechanic that was clearly inspired by The Matrix, creating a sense of delightful chaos. It was something that the player had an immense amount of control over, as they were able to think on their feet and improvise some fantastic combat scenarios. But while the shoot-dodge concept looks beautiful in third-person, the prospect of seeing that happen in first person is equally as compelling. You take a diving leap in first person as bullets whiz by you, the rush of adrenaline that permeates every core of the original Max Payne experience. It's one thing to see those bullet trails narrowly miss you in third person, but it's on an entirely different level to see your face barely avoid being obliterated up close. The original Max Payne was built on the pure rush that you got from the brutal encounters within, so a first person version of that seems ideal.
