10 Video Games Based On Movies That Actually Didn't Suck

10. The Fast & The Furious (Arcade)

Fast And The Furious Arcade This one is certainly something of a cheat. The game itself doesn't really have much to do with the film franchise of the same name, and instead has a lot more in common with the Cruis'n series of games that were popular in arcades and on home consoles. In fact, when the game was ported to the Wii, it was renamed Cruis'n and had the film licenses removed. That said, this was a seamless arcade game with a great system. When the Tokyo Drift conversion came out, it made the game so much better, and really separated it from other racers in the arcade. It had a large number of cars and customisations that could be added before a race, and a decent soundtrack that truly fit the franchise license. Any time me and the guys would find ourselves at the theatre, we'd often show up early just so we could have a go at this fun game.

I'm a fan of pop-culture in all mediums: Music, Film, Gaming, Comics, TV, Whatever. I can generally find something enjoyable in even the worst trash. I guess as a B-Horror enthusiast, I kind of have to. Currently I'm an author working on a manuscript for a crime novel, and attending school to be an Environmental Health and Safety Technician. In the past I've made a go at running in an election for MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) for my hometown of Glace Bay. I was 23 at the time, and though I lost (by like a lot), I learned a lot more about politics in a month than I ever learned. Get at me on Twitter @DanWilsonWC
