10 Video Games That Could Seriously Damage Your Health

9. Sonic Adventure

To anyone who played the original Sonic Adventure and its sequel, this one might not be so surprising. The game was pretty good €“ it was just what you€™d expect, nay, hoped for, in a 3D Sonic game. It had pacing, scenery, rings! And it was fast! Bloody hell was it fast. So it really shouldn€™t be surprising that these titles actually did a bit of damage to some players. The bright, flashy scenery didn€™t just zip past player€™s screens €“ it would flip, spin and revolve to follow your furry character as they ran down walls and through loop de loops. To players who weren€™t used to the sudden transition from 2D to 3D, they were usually treated with severe headaches, dizziness and in some unique cases, motion sickness. By some staggering coincidence, every Sonic the Hedgehog game that followed it would suck with teeth.
