10 Video Games That Need A Movie Adaptation

skyrim hearth Have you ever sat and played a totally awesome video game only to come away wondering what it would be like as a huge blockbuster movie? Now I know this is a bit of a taboo subject, with Uwe Boll churning out terrible movies of decent games- namely Bloodrayne, Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead. This is probably enough for you lot to throw your hands up and totally disagree but what if a reliable, big name director actually took an interest in making a more than half assed adaption of your favorite video game? Here are some I'd personally love to see up on the silver screen.

10. Duke Nukem

Okay we get it, after 10 years wandering in the depths of Development Hell, Duke Nukem Forever was a complete let down for most. But what if we actually got him onto the big screen. Granted, the movie would solely be aimed at the male population but it would make one outlandish show. Duke is full of self parody and he knows it. Beer, guns, big breasted women, toilet humor and saving the world from aliens, it would be one of them movies were you could just switch off an hour and a half and enjoy a lot of brainless carnage. Hail to the King baby! Casting If this was made about ten years ago, it would be a definite hands up for Arnold to play Duke but since Arnie has got old, a new casting option would obviously need called for.Dolph Ludgren would be well suited for the role due to his work in the Expendables or Bruce Willis since he is still churning out Die Hard Movies. Likelihood of this being made: 2/10 As much as I would love this to be made, Duke doesn't have the best track record of things being released on time. Even at that, Duke Nukem Forever was lambasted by critics due to Duke being "past his prime" and his sexist nature apparently doesn't fit in too well with peoples views in this day and age. If it did get off the ground, I could see it being classed as "in production" for the next ten years or so too.
