10 Video Games You Loved As A Teen (But Should Never Play Again)

The teenage years of any human being are vital in forming who they become as an adult: you're more open and receptive to things than you ever will be as a jaded, cynical adult, and as a result it's the age at which you'll experience your most intense feelings about the media you consume.

But now that you're all grown up, you might not look quite so fondly on some of the pop-culture you devoured as an awkward teen, either because the games themselves have since become hilariously dated, or because they took full advantage of your hormone-infused inclinations.

And so, you're better off sparing yourself some embarrassment and keeping those pristine memories of classic (and not-so-classic) games firmly in tact by never, ever revisiting them under the pretense of a nostalgia fix. Nothing good will come from it.

Whatever the reason, these games are all rather torturous to play nowadays, if not for their dated gameplay mechanics then because you're a teensy bit ashamed you ever played them in the first place. Speaking of which...
