9. Kratos Almost Had A Dad-Bod
Sticking with the aesthetics for one more turn, Kratos himself almost looked pretty different as well.
Originally, the idea for Kratos was to be something of an "athlete in the off-season". Director Cory Barlog went as far as to cite David Harbour, known for his role as Sheriff Jim Hopper in Stranger Things, as a possible inspiration. Kratos would have been significantly younger in this iteration of the game, but have let himself go.
Of course, the team eventually veered away from this image and Kratos returned to his ripped self. The team added in the signature beard and got Chris Judge to provide the voice, which made Kratos much older than originally intended. How would you have felt playing with a chubby Kratos? Would it have changed the experience?
