8. Avatar Customisation
No matter what console they've appeared on, Microsoft's avatars have always beat Nintendo's Miis and PlayStation's... pictures?
The fact that PlayStation don't even have an avatar customisation system in place instantly puts them on the bottom of the pile here. The ill-fated PlayStation Home was actually pretty great, but that got the boot so it doesn't really count anymore.
Whilst Sony seem content with pictures of game characters and random memes, Microsoft are constantly updating the Avatar customisation options, to the point where they will eventually cater to disabled people too. There are so many choices of clothing and ways to make your avatar unique, that customising them is like a game in itself.
Nintendo are pretty famous for their Miis but objectively speaking, Mkcrosoft's Avatars have so much more personality and customisation options that there isn't really any competition. Choosing your favourite colour doesn't really come close to decking an avatar out to look like Batman.
