10 Ways To Tell If World Of Warcraft Owns Your Soul

Just when you think you're out, they pull you back in.

Unless your life has been void of electrical outlets for the last 10 years, you've probably heard of a little game called World of Warcraft. Orcs, humans, elves and trolls, that sort of thing. If you've been at all lucky enough to play the game throughout its 10 year life cycle, you'll also know that at some point throughout your subscription, Blizzard has (at least partially) owned your soul. Most gamers sink hundreds of hours into their favourite games, but there is something far more devious at work during the time you'll put into World of Warcraft that other titles don't have. No matter which expansion you started with, most long-term players have invested a large chunk of time and effort into their original character. However, the burning desire to try out and level all the different races and classes is too much to resist, and you'll soon fill up your entire selection screen. Warcraft has a lot of things to do in-game and it can be very addictive, eating away at a lot of your time. But if you're having a good time, why not let Blizzard have fun with your soul for a little while? Seems a fair trade off, for a few years at least, right? Although you may not enjoy every aspect of the game, World of Warcraft has a variety of vendors willing to trade in lifetimes - let's take a look at a few.
